Galina Ozgur is Managing Director at H/L Ventures and General Partner at CityRock Venture Partners, where she brings over a decade of experience investing in and scaling early-stage companies. She plays a key leadership role across the H/L family of funds, supporting founders through the critical early phases of growth while also making later-stage investments at CityRock.

Galina has spent her career at the intersection of venture capital, start-up acceleration, and operational excellence. Prior to H/L Ventures, she served as the General Manager of Grand Central Tech (now Company Ventures), where she built and led one of New York City’s most respected residencies for high-growth start-ups. Earlier, she was the first hire and Program Manager at Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator, where she helped graduate over 100 companies and shaped one of the most active accelerator ecosystems in the U.S.

Her background also includes global innovation and impact investing roles, including Entrepreneur-in-Residence at 500 Startups and Venture Scout at Aera VC, a seed-stage fund focused on sectors such as the Future of Food, Health, Climate, and Education.

Galina was recently named one of Venture Capital Journal’s 40 Under 40: Rising Stars in Venture and is widely recognized for her founder-first approach, deep operational insight, and ability to turn early-stage ideas into scalable, fundable ventures.
